Better Performance Physical Therapy recently took part in the Ideas to Enterprise (I2E) Business Planning Competition. The I2E program, part of IGNITE, has created a culture of empowerment, education, connectivity and support by providing grants and expert consultation to new and existing business throughout Washington County.
The four-week program allowed myself and other entrepreneurs to come together to form and/or refine a business idea and take the actionable steps of creating a useable business plan. At the end of the four-week course, we had the chance to pitch our ideas to a panel of judges, who then selected the top 3 finishers.
The top three finishers were awarded grant money (funded by the EQT foundation)— $5,000, $3,000 or $1,000 — plus counseling, advice and a free month’s membership to utilize the beautiful, new shared workspace in Washington, PA.
I am pleased to announce that Better Performance Physical Therapy was the recipient of the 2nd place prize, totaling $3,000. I want to extend my deepest appreciation to the EQT Foundation for providing this opportunity, along with Max Miller and Lauren LaGreca, and all of the supporters for the Ignite Business Incubator.
Better Performance – Opportunities for Growth
Better Performance Physical Therapy plans on utilizing these funds to improve our marketing and advertising efforts, in order to better reach those who are seeking advanced Physical Therapy care. Additionally, these funds will be utilized on the continued investment in educational opportunities and equipment that will better position our company for sustainable long-term growth.
